CIRCULARSub:- EODB - Dealer Helpdesks in Circle/Division Offices –online Monitoring Tool – Created –Revised - Regarding.
Kind attention is invited to the reference cited wherein Deputy Commissioners (CT) were instructed to open Service Centres in the Division Office to assist dealers in e-filing of returns.
It was subsequently reiterated in the Deputy Commissioners (CT) Conferences during EODB review that Dealer Services Centers / helpdesks may be equipped with one system, Printer and proper connectivity to help with dealer in filing of Returns, Online Registration Applications and answer queries. Instructions were issued to maintain proper registers of the calls attended to.
Now an online monitoring tool is created to track all dealer requests/ queries. Any call/ service request may be logged into the online tool without fail. The tool allows the Dept staff to close the issue, if solved or to escalate the issue to the concerned authority, in case action is required at higher levels. . The entire process flow along with the resolution time is tracked in this tool.
The tool may be accessed through VATIS. All personnel manning the Dealer Helpdesk may be directed to use this online tool with immediate effect.
