ADVANTAGES OF E-PAYMENT

  • No need to fill forms and chques.
  • Chques, cash deposit is not required. so you can reduce your long process transactions and save your valuable time.
             Eg:
             Cheque preparation,
             Chque signing,
             Went to bank,
             Submitting the cheque in to bank and wait for receipt,
             Return to office.
  • Chequs payment takes more time than online payment. so there may be chances to penalty for late payments. So you can reduce penalty and Interests for online payment.
  • You can complete payment with in 5-10 mins.
  • You can make payment at any time (24X7). the NSDL website allows you to make payment at any time. But some banks fixed cutoff time. so check your company bank's website for this information.
  • You can also make payment from other persons net-banking account. 
ADVANCE TAX ONLINE E-PAYMENT (CHALLAN 280 )

STEP 1:
Click/Visit the following link.
https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/etaxnew/tdsnontds.jsp
Click on Challan No./ITNS 280
Now you will get the following screen.

STEP 2:
Fill the mandatory* fields.

1) (0020) COMPANY  DEDUCTEES or  (0021) NON-COMPANY DEDUCTEES
   If you pay Advance tax for company, select (0020) INCOME-TAX ON 
   COMPANIES(CORPORATION TAX)
   OR
   If you pay Advance tax for Non-Company select (0021) INCOME-TAX (OTHER THAN 
   COMPANIES)

2) Enter PAN number.
3) Select Assesment year
   If you pay Advance Tax for FY 2012-13, select this filed as 2013-14. etc....
4) Enter your city, PIN and select state...

5) Select (100)ADVANCE TAX
6) Select your bank name. (You Must have net-banking facility, you can use other persons
     net-banking  account also)
7) Enter the characters you see in the picture above.
8) Click on "Proceed"

STEP 3:
Just verify your company/your name etc. If everything is correct then click on "submit to the bank" button. 


 STEP 4:
Enter Net-banking UN & PW and follow next steps as per your banks requirements.

After complete the e-payment, you will get receipt, it is required when you file your returns.
