AP VAT - WHAT PROOF DO I NEED TO CLAIM INPUT TAX?
You must have an original tax invoice to substantiate a claim for input tax credit. If
you do not possess such a document you must obtain one, otherwise you will not be
eligible to claim a credit.
However, please note that you need not file these invoices to claim your ITC in the monthly return. You may retain all the original VAT invoices in you files

ReplyDeleteI am an online seller and I have filed AP Vat and CST e return first time and I want to know, if I need to submit any documents by visiting the office or upload any sales or purchase excel file. I have all vat sales and purchase in the vat 5% and I did few sales to other states and charged cst at the Vat rate as the all sales are to retail customers.

No need to submit any documents for your business transaction. Just submit your returns properly.Only show your original Documents and other imported documents, when AP Sales tax dept visit your office.
